From a friendly welcome to a cheery goodbye, you can be confident that at LIFE Daycare there will be a full day of challenging activities ahead to inspire and develop those busy minds.
Our current managers are Stephanie Bennett and Sarah Unwin, who share an Acting Manager role covering for the Nursery Manager, Erin Gardner who is on maternity leave until autumn 2017.
Erin Gardner arrived LIFE Daycare in January 2017, brimming with ideas and itching to get started! She brings many years’ experience from previous roles as an Early Years and Primary teacher. Erin loves to enable children to learn and explore through play and new experiences. Erin actively seeks out ways to help people achieve their potential – staff and children alike! She is passionate about good management, progressing the nursery and building great relationships with parents and families. Erin’s eldest son currently attends the nursery, so she totally understands the importance of the nursery/parent relationship
With over 28 years experience in childcare, including time as a Child Care Inspector for Ofsted, Stephanie Bennett previously managed LIFE Daycare for seven years (2007-2014). During this time, we gained an ‘outstanding’ grading from Ofsted. Stephanie’s passion is to ensure that every child grows to discover their own individuality in a fun, safe and loving environment. Steph’s sunny personality and infectious laugh brighten our daycare corridors every week!
Sarah Unwin has been with us for eight years and has grown hugely in her experience during that time. She provides valuable expertise in leading individual rooms and managing staff, alongside utilising her skills as an excellent nursery practitioner. Sarah’s main passion is providing high quality, creative teaching practice in the rooms, and she champions this across the LIFE Daycare staff team. Perhaps more importantly though, the kids know they can always rely on Sarah for a good messy play session!
